This notice describes the technical operation of this website preview under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP). It does not replace the privacy information of the external services you choose to open.
Page requests & security logs
Your browser sends its IP address and the requested page to the server so that the page can be delivered over HTTPS. The website does not create visitor profiles. The current access-log format records time, HTTP method, path, status and response size, without IP addresses, query parameters, browser identifiers or referrers.
Technical error logs can contain an IP address and request context when a fault occurs. Older logs created before this format change can contain normal request details. The server rotates logs daily and retains up to 14 rotated files plus the active file. These files are used to investigate faults and protect the service; they are accessible to authorised server administrators.
Hosting & international transfers
The VPS provider is Hostinger, as confirmed by the account holder. Hostinger processes technical connection data to provide the infrastructure. Its data processing terms explain its processor arrangements.
The physical server country, backup countries and contracting Hostinger entity have not yet been verified for this preview. Hosting outside Switzerland must therefore be considered possible. These specific details and the applicable transfer safeguards must be confirmed in the hosting account before this notice can be treated as complete for the final restaurant website.
Cookies & browser storage
This site sets no analytics or advertising cookies. It uses one functional sessionStorage entry, marcellino.welcome.v1, with the value dismissed, to remember that you closed the welcome window. It contains no contact details, is not sent to the server and is shared only by pages in this tab and origin. It lasts for the page session; restoring a browser session can restore it.
You can remove this entry using “Cookies & storage” in the footer, or block browser storage. The menus, contact links and booking links work without it. The site does not use localStorage or a tracking consent identifier.
Booking, WhatsApp & external links
Foratable, WhatsApp, Instagram, Google Maps and the existing restaurant website are linked, not embedded. Their servers are not contacted by this site before you follow a link. A referrer policy prevents this website’s page address being sent with those navigation requests.
Foratable receives the information you enter in its booking service. WhatsApp is a Meta service: when you open it, WhatsApp processes connection data, and your telephone number and message become available to the recipient if you send the message. Processing can take place outside Switzerland; consult the provider’s privacy information. You can instead book by telephone. No message or reservation is submitted automatically here.
If you contact the restaurant by phone or email, the restaurant handles your enquiry through those channels. This website contains no contact form, newsletter signup or online payment system.
